When Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher of Royal Blood sat down to talk about making a new album, they knew what they wanted to achieve. After setting the tone with first single 'Trouble's Coming' the band followed up quickly with second single (and title track of the album) Typhoons. The album opens in breathless, take-no-prisoners style and whether directly or allusively, focuses on exploring the flipside of success. This manifests itself in the duo's decision to produce the majority of 'Typhoons' themselves. 'Boilermaker' was produced by Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. Buckle up because you are in for a ride with Typhoons!
